How Can I Help? |
|
Since we are a young organization, your financial investment is crucial while we work to establish Choro in Schola as a source of inspiration and mentorship among the young choral singers of Oregon and Washington. We believe that by sharing our values of excellent musicianship through example and coaching, our program will give students a greater awareness and appreciation of choral music that will serve them in all areas of life. Our programs have been so enthusiastically received by students and directors that we now have a growing waiting list of other schools that wish to take advantage of our unique program. Our hope is that Choro in Schola will serve as a model for similar organizations nationwide as we grow and develop the resources to expand our outreach. Your funds will help enable us to pay the singers and vocal mentors a modest honorarium, many of whom take unpaid leave from other jobs in order to work with the students during school hours. Part of our funding plan as we mature as an organization is to apply for grants to support our work. If you know of funding sources (family foundations, for example) that provide support for arts education projects, please let us know. CIS is a participating nonprofit in the Oregon Cultural Trust, which means that you are eligible to get your money back in the form of a year-end tax credit. Choro in Schola is officially recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3), Tax ID# 46-2071248. Your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Please contact us if you would like to donate (by check). MAIL YOUR CHECK TO CHORO IN SCHOLA P.O. Box 11734 Portland, OR 97211 Or you may donate online through PayPal here: |
