Dan Dalzell
Dan grew up with two parents who were music teachers and has always enjoyed singing and playing music. He graduated from Columbia Christian College with a BA in Music Ed and completed his masters at Portland State. Dan has taught music at all levels K-12 including six years as a middle school choir director and ten years as a high school director. He also served for six years as a full time worship leader and children’s pastor. He sang for six years with the Texas Master Chorale in Houston and is currently a staff singer with the Portland Symphonic Choir. Dan is in his second year as the Athletics Director at Sam Barlow High School and was previously the Activities Director for nine years. Dan and his wife, Lani, have four adult children, three grandkids, and live in Gresham with their two labradoodles, Jasmine and Juniper.
